Tim Hipenbecker

Tim Hipenbecker graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin with a BA in Secondary Education. Tim taught at Lutheran High School North, an inner core suburban school in St. Louis, Missouri for 12 years. While at Lutheran North, he served as the business department chairman, registrar, and assistant principal in addition to coaching football, basketball, advising student council and Future Business Leaders of America. Tim then served for 4 years as the founding principal of Lutheran High School in Parker, Colorado. He returned to be principal for 6 years at Lutheran High School North in St. Louis. Tim then served as head of schools and president of the Lutheran High School Association of St. Louis for 6 years. Tim recently returned to the Milwaukee area to be closer to his family and has been working as a ministries development consultant with Grace Works ministries before coming on board with the Center for Urban Teaching as a talent developer.

Tim received his MBA at Lindenwood University in 1992. He attended the University of Missouri in St. Louis and Phoenix University in Denver working on advanced degrees in educational administration and leadership. Tim is an outdoorsman and enjoys fishing and hunting with his two sons and is also an avid sports fan, especially of the Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin Badgers.
