When and where is the conference being held?

Join us for the Urban Teaching and Leadership Conference (UTLC) on Friday, Oct. 24, at Alverno College, 3400 South 43rd Street, Milwaukee. Registration and networking open at 7:30 a.m., with the conference starting at 8:15 a.m. and wrapping up at 3:30 p.m. Right after, we’ll keep the celebration going with the Sweet 16 After-Party in honor of the conference’s 16th anniversary.

Who should attend the conference?

UTLC is designed for teachers, school leaders, education advocates and partners who are passionate about teaching, leadership development and urban education.

How do I register?

You can register online here. Early registration is encouraged, as space is limited.

Is there a deadline to register?

Yes. Regular registration closes on Friday, Oct. 10th. Late or on-site registration will be available on a limited basis.

Will meals be provided?

Yes. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, along with refreshments at the Sweet 16 After-Party.

Where should I park?

There is free parking on campus in the parking structures. We recommend using Lot A (gray Building A on the map), located to your left as you enter campus from 43rd Street. From there, it is a short walk to the Sister Joel Read Center (red Building 2 on the map). Click here for a printable map.
