UTLC FAQs
Join us for the Urban Teaching and Leadership Conference (UTLC) on Friday, Oct. 23, at Alverno College, 3400 South 43rd Street, Milwaukee. Registration and networking open at 7:30 a.m., with the conference starting at 8:15 a.m. and wrapping up at 3:30 p.m.
UTLC is designed for teachers, school leaders, education advocates and partners who are passionate about teaching, leadership development and urban education.
You can register online here. Early registration is encouraged, as space is limited.
Yes. Regular registration closes on Friday, Oct. 9. Late or on-site registration will be available on a limited basis.
Yes. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
There is free parking on campus in the parking structures. We recommend using Lot A (gray Building A on the map), located to your left as you enter campus from 43rd Street. From there, it is a short walk to the Sister Joel Read Center (red Building 2 on the map).
Registration includes access to all keynote sessions, breakout workshops, networking opportunities, conference materials, meals provided during the event, and parking.
Business casual attire is recommended.
