Lindsey Gerke joined the CfUT team in 2020 as a Talent Coach. She has over 15 years of teaching and leadership experience in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Lindsey has a B.A. from Wisconsin Lutheran College in Elementary Education and a Master’s of Arts in Language and Literacy from Cardinal Stritch University. Her thesis focus was strategies for increasing vocabulary. She is currently a doctoral candidate at Concordia University in Leadership in Innovation and Continuous Improvement.
Prior to CfUT, Lindsey served as a Principal and then Superintendent of Instruction at Shining Star Christian Schools. In her time there, she developed the blended learning curriculum, transformed school culture, and impacted the growth of the schools from two campuses to three campuses to serve over 450 scholars. Previous to Shining Star, Lindsey served as teacher and Dean of Instruction at HOPE Christian School: Prima. From these experiences, Lindsey excels at building relationships with scholars and teachers, holding high expectations, and creating warm and loving classroom and school cultures. In her free time, Lindsey enjoys spending time with family and friends and traveling.
